The field/music/performances took place in 1973 at The Midland Group Gallery in Nottingham, and in the Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol, as part of the Field Workings Exhibit. It was an improvised musical performance piece based on a score by Marie Yates with reference to primitive forms, sounds and symbols, and natural phenomena - accompanied by the duo Rain in The Face (David Toop and Paul Burwell) and several others.
